Review of 300 Days 300 Nights by Lil Durk

December 17th, 2015

Lil Durk recently dropped 300 Days 300 Nights. We gave it a listen. Here’s what we think.

Our Take

This mixtape is for any true fan of trap music. 300 Days 300 Nights doesn’t contain high powered lyrics, but it’s full of auto-tune singing, trap hi-hat rolls, and catchy hooks. There are some bright spots on this mixtape. Lil Durk & Dej Loaf came together to create “My Beyonce.” This track is a 2015 Bonnie & Clyde track. Meek Mill blesses this mixtape with his high energy delivery that will make anyone bob their heads. Overall, this mixtape could’ve been better but it’s worth a listen. Beyond that, you will have to be a fan.

Favorite Track

Our favorite track is the Intro. It features Lil Durk’s father, Durk, speaking from jail. He let the world into his life and tried to provide us with some advice. After Durk spoke, Lil Durk laced the track with some fire lyrics. This was the only track that we felt Lil Durk showcased his lyrical talent on a C-Sick beat.

Least Favorite Track

In all honesty, every song sounded almost the same. Lil Durk auto-tune sang on many tracks and the concepts weren’t creative. This isn’t a record for a music enthusiast.
